The "SNAKE
RIVER RAILROAD & NAVIGATION COMPANY" features a full
wharf area, a small saw mill with a long approach trestle as well as
small mine. It could easily be made to fit into a corner of a room.
The mainline disappears off scene through the tunnel top right on the plan, either to storage yard or to the rest of the layout. The wharf scene is based on the 'Alice Arm' wharf which was published in the book "STEEL RAILS & SILVER DREAMS" by Darryl E. Muralt, published by Benchmark in 1985. This layout is only on paper so far. . .
